CHEF ANDREW THOMSON
Executive Chef / Owner
-
Raised in Toronto and shaped by global travel, Chef Andrew developed an early appreciation for diverse flavors and scratch-made cooking. His professional journey began at The Pour House, where he spent four formative years learning every facet of the restaurant world alongside his brother.
He went on to refine his craft with respected Ohio chefs including Roger Malone (Hoggy’s), Steve Van Stone (Nationwide Hotel & Conference Centre), Benjamin Greig (Local Roots), and Josh Dalton (1808/Veritas). From mastering BBQ and leading high-volume kitchens to developing globally inspired menus and embracing farm-to-table principles, Andrew built a foundation rooted in technique, balance, and thoughtful flavor development.
For Andrew, food is more than a profession — it is connection. Throughout his travels and life experiences, he saw how meals anchor celebration, comfort grief, and bring people home, no matter the distance.
His defining moment as a chef came not from an award, but from a bowl of andouille and chicken gumbo served during a harsh Ohio winter. Four homesick women from New Orleans told him it was among the best they’d ever had — and, more importantly, that it made them feel home again. That moment remains his highest accolade and continues to guide every dish he creates.
Andrew’s passion is crafting memorable culinary experiences — thoughtfully designed menus, layered flavors, and made-from-scratch cooking that turns special occasions into lasting memories.
SARAH FOSTER
Sous-Chef / Co-Owner
-
Sarah’s culinary roots began in the Midwest, where casseroles, crockpot meals, and Kansas City BBQ shaped her early expectations of food and comfort. After moving to Columbus and immersing herself in Brazilian jiu jitsu culture — where meals are shared as passionately as training — her appreciation for diverse, authentic cuisine expanded.
While earning her master’s in nursing and raising two daughters during the challenges of COVID, Sarah’s love for food remained constant. Partnering with Chef Andrew, she discovered how thoughtful technique, balanced flavor profiles, and scratch-made elements like soups, broths, and sourdough could elevate everyday dining into something memorable.
Today, Sarah enjoys connecting with clients, hearing their stories, and helping craft personalized menus that bring warmth and intention to every gathering.
